Ashley Diamond

Owner

Ashley Diamond entered the wine business and opened Vine & Co. as someone who simply loves and appreciates wine. Now as proprietor of the store, she is committed to making sure it is a place that is warm, welcoming and comfortable for oenophiles and wine novices alike.

A native of Westchester, Ashley worked in marketing and lived in New York City before settling in Katonah, where she now lives with her husband and two daughters. When the opportunity arose to take over a wine and spirits shop in her local shopping center, Ashley jumped at the chance and enlisted her friend Meg Burdick, now General Manager, to help create the ideal store.

They came up with Vine & Co.'s tag lines: "Save Water: Drink Wine", "Lifting Spirits" and "Drink Happy". Ashley clearly believes that life should be a celebration. "Whether you are just conquering your day, marking a milestone, a birthday, or anything in between–wine really brings people together; it symbolizes enjoyment and happiness," she said.

Meg Burdick

General Manager/Partner

Meg Burdick, a native of Buffalo, NY and now a Yorktown resident, is a trained chef and former caterer who brings a love of the retail business and a passion for the food and wine industry to Vine & Co.

With experience at the Food Network, as well as having worked as a private chef and caterer, Meg appreciates the need for trust and credibility when called upon for guidance in something as subjective as food and wine. As General Manager, she is focused on making the store a place where people can approach the staff and feel at home talking about wine and spirits.

"I feel that our business is different–we seek to make everyone feel touched when they come here to talk about wine; to share what we know and to hear from customers about what they like to drink." She is proud of the store's well-curated selections along with its stock of everyday wine, and is confident that any customer's needs will be met.

"We want you to be able to go home and have a great bottle of wine," she said. "And trust us to find you another great one the next time you come in."
